“A commentary set from a preacher’s study in Huntsville may end up in the hands of a Bible student in Georgia.” — Where your books go

A Small, Personal Operation

Often, serious book collections — built by preachers, professors, and lifelong students — end up in donation bins where they're priced at a dollar and may never reach the readers still looking for them.

I built this service to be a better option. When you submit a collection to me, I review it personally. I know the difference between a commentary set worth keeping together and a shelf of paperbacks that belong at Goodwill. When I take your books, I place them with readers across the country who are actively searching for them.

When you contact me, you're talking to me — not a call center. I take that seriously.

We Keep a Narrow Focus — On Purpose

By staying focused, we're able to give serious collections the attention they deserve and place those books with readers who will actually use them.

  • Fiction, including romance or mass-market paperbacks
  • Popular paperback novels
  • Magazines
  • Encyclopedias
  • Books that are heavily worn, damaged, or have strong odors

Most collections contain a mix. The presence of some titles outside our focus does not automatically disqualify a collection. If you're unsure, include everything in your photos and we'll review it together.

Pleased to Serve North Alabama

We serve communities throughout North Alabama. For particularly large or valuable collections, we are willing to travel further into central and southern Alabama or middle Tennessee.

What People Ask

Do I need to sort the books before submitting photos?

No. Most collections contain a mix of subjects. Just send a few photos of the shelves and we'll review the collection as a whole.

What if some books in the collection are fiction or outside your focus?

That's completely normal. The presence of some titles outside our focus does not automatically disqualify a collection. We evaluate the overall library, not a single book.

Do I need to box the books before submitting the form?

No. In most cases we simply review photos of the books while they are still on the shelves. No boxing or sorting required before we confirm a fit.

How long does it take to hear back?

We review every submission personally and usually respond within a day. You're also welcome to call or text directly at (256) 585-6596.

Can I sell my collection rather than donate it?

For most collections, we work on a donation basis. However, for collections with significant monetary value — particularly large theological libraries, academic sets, or rare professional reference books — we are sometimes able to offer direct purchase or a consignment arrangement. Mention it in your message when you submit your photos.
